Oh and I forgot. County Mayo finally broke the 'priest's curse' on Sunday. The last player from the 1951 win died last year (the priest thought they were not displaying the correct solemnity at a funeral they encountered after winning the last cup and cursed the team, never to win the cup again until the last player had died) and they finally won the All Ireland cup. I do not pretend to understand Gaelic football. It is a sort of 'aggressive netball' which adds little enlightenment. Netball is supposed to be a more gentile version of basketball. Anyway, the Irish are passionate about it.
The pub where my daughter watched the final broke out in the Saw Doctor's 'The Red and Green of Mayo' as did the stadium. It was the day which pilgrims do climb the mountain to kiss St Patrick's feet. Grown men were in tears. https://youtu.be/r_5nP9VKxbQ?si=nYIHY7PWY0qkdwqO
p.s. don't you think you should be a bit careful about saying Infantino is corrupt (legally I mean)?Perhaps you should just add 'probably' or 'allegedly'.

Agreed - Amnesty is a discredited organisation. Taken over by the usual crew.
It will be interesting to see what the external investigation uncovers. It is good to have both reports withdrawn.
Hello Northumberland! Good to see You again this fine Friday morning.
You give me hope for Andy Burnham.
I'm sorry to hear about the wildfire. And about FIFA. And especially about the trade unions. Disgraceful.
TY for posting the letter from CARE.
Kingsford is a catastrophe. I wish Det Con Fletcher good luck in her hearing.
That's interesting about the Bill of Rights 1689.
I'm glad You had a good time with Your son.
Paddy looks great, as always. And, as always, TY Michelle. Appreciate You.
Amnesty International UK have issued a grudging apology: https://www.amnesty.org.uk/latest/an-apology-a-growing-threat-briefing-published-on-8-july-2026/

I can make the change, but I suspect it is fair comment given what his sr advisor has just said in his resignation letter.
Maybe it's fair but I don't want you to get in trouble, Michelle.
I have updated to something even more cautious.
