Was just getting ready to go out on my daily constitutional, when I checked email. Boy was I *pleasantly* surprised. And downright flabbergasted by all the seemingly-right-headedness of the news You bring. TYTY, Michelle. Have many links to check when I get back.
But *first* up! A few more pages left in "Troubled Blood." Then FINALLY, (after checking links) "The Ink Black Heart!" So, again, cain't thankee enuf fer Yer recommendation. And the news, 'course.
TYTY Ma'am! Yeah, sounds like Labour is following U.S. Woke Religion.
The other links were "mahvalous, dahlink!"
I sometimes copy articles to Word, on the lame theory that I'll be able to find and review them later. I set up a new folder, just for Kemi. Also hope that Mermaids gets what they got coming to them. Couple good articles on them. And I gotta say I feel sorry for M. Clanchy. I hope she sues all-a them for libel.
I gotta temporary sub for The Telegraph for 3 months. Should I keep it past that, Michelle? It's a *little* expensive, at $10/month. But they sure had some good articles. TY again. :-)
I get both but really you will be fine with just the Times. They do have some good articles on this stuff. Although when you contact them to unsubscribe, they will probably offer you another deal.
And I gotta say! Never would-a guessed it was [evil doer] in a million years. Just like they're supposed to end. After a little fruit for lunch, I *HAFTA* start "The Ink Black Heart." Will check out *all* the links tomorrow. TYTY again for all.

Oh brilliant. I am so pleased you are enjoying RG/JKR.
I forgot to include the article about Rupa Huq -- the Labour MP who was suspended because she called Kwarteng superficially black. Starmer agreed that it was a v racist remark and would not be tolerated in the Labour party. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/2022/09/27/labour-mp-rupa-huq-calls-kwasi-kwarteng-superficially-black/

Two articles about Mermaids today -- 1. from the Times about their unsupervised chat rooms https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/trans-charitys-chatroom-for-children-condemned-as-irresponsible-free-for-all-hwgzvdhzj
And from the Telegraph about them giving legal advice to 16 years old on how to socially transition behind their parents' back. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2022/09/30/trans-charity-mermaids-helps-teenagers-change-name-secret/
Oh and the new Lord Chancellor, Brandon Lewis, has announced changes to how transgender prisoners are to be dealt with -- it will now be at the ministers' discretion, rather than a transgender case board. So they will have a veto on where trans prisoners serve their sentence -- it comes after the Sussex police case https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/ministers-to-have-veto-on-where-trans-prisoners-serve-sentences-pqjrg55hm
That's *great* about the transgenders in prison. Wish us here had a similar backbone.
Oooooh. Another hot tip!
