Hello Northumberland! Good to "see" Ya.

And I gotta say: KEMI! KEMI! KEMI! Yours and my hero.

And a great collection of articles. That on the bone density is not surprising. Nor that on Creative Scotland. The ideologists know no shame.

I'm looking forward to reading Mick Herron. Thank You (and The Times) for the tip.

The wall, and Paddy too, of course, look great. Glad he can roam around again.

TY, as always, Michelle.

I do hope you enjoy Mick Herron. Probably my find of the year.

Paddy is v pleased to be able to roam again. It means he can be out when I am doing the gardening. I am currently trying to clear away the brambles which went wild on the dene's pathways. I do have to be able to get around in the garden. I nearly slipped down one side of the dene yesterday, managed to catch myself, legs dangling and haul myself back up. Paddy thought this most amusing.

And If the MPs allow Kemi to go to the ordinary members, I suspect she will win. Her launch was v good. Her main pitch is that she is an engineer and engineers are v good at fixing systems.

It is always good to see you, JT.

Oh I forgot to say that there is a new Chief Scout in the UK -- he grew up in an inner city and pointed out that the Scouts saved his life. He said the obvious -- scouting has always been open to everyone, even if sometimes people forget this. https://x.com/scouts/status/1831976552122241532

Dwayne Fields sounds like a great man to lead the Scouts.

TY for the article, Michelle.

I thought you'd like it.

Channa might also like to know that the Princess of Wales who is the joint president of the Scouts is really happy with the appointment.

Oh I do hope you enjoy them.

I am pleased you enjoyed the catch up. I thought the paper on bone density was interesting. I under stand from Elaine Miller who is a physio turned comedian that the findings were expected in many ways but the research had to be done.

Yes, I had heard others posit that this was likely. Also I noticed that the British Medical Association is refuting the Cass Report. I was worried until Disa over on Celia's JIP substack pointed out that the BMA is a union and has little power at this point. What is your take on that?

The BMA is being torn apart by this -- many of its older members are rebelling against the activists. It is much as it was at the Society of Authors. Hannah Barnes has done brilliantly at exposing the activists' strategy.

Scotland has now embraced Cass. https://x.com/STVNews/status/1830992030576611546

And the Dept of Health is continuing with its implementation. This is the statement Wes Streeting made on 4 Sept 2024 concerning what is going on. Much of which I suspect you already knew, including the review of the adult services. https://questions-statements.parliament.uk/written-statements/detail/2024-09-04/hcws70

Informative and helpful. Thanks! Yes, Hannah Barnes is amazing. Streeting's statement seems surprisingly clear and easy to understand or maybe I've come to expect double speak and obfuscation, so normal informative language, especially from government agents, seems unusual now.

I know what you mean, but I think Streeting is v clear on this, what needs to be done and who is behind the toxicity.

It is interesting that the Good Law Project -- the one run by the fox-killing kimono wearer is withdrawing from trans lawfare after the remaining case in November. They are going to look at other ways to support the 'trans' community. He was directly rebuked by Prof Appleby for spreading lies and misinformation about suicides earlier this summer. https://x.com/berk_hamstead/status/1830990411965333702/photo/1

I feel quite gleeful watching the trans activists get their comeuppance in the UK. I can't wait until it starts happening in the US, although as I am sure you know, the corrupt and insane medical agencies here rejected the Cass report and are doubling down even more on gender transitioning. Hopefully that is only the last gasps of a toxic industry. But money is such a powerful motivator to maintain corruption at all costs, the gender insanity could linger on for a long time over here
