It’s incredible to me that the artists were always the rebels. Now the artists in these cases hold up the establishment, and the crappiest parts of the establishment. Like when Neil Young pulled his music from Spotify and someone commented, Neil Young just turned into the guy Neil Young warned you about.
Good luck with your writing. I’m tapping away on my second draft still but soon am going to start my Substack.
I suspect that someone knew about the Spiral of Silence and really tried v hard to nobble the Avant Garde -- the vocal minority who normally speak about such things. It is incredible.
Good luck with your second draft! Subsequent drafts are where the magic happens.
It was a surprise to me. I will have to admit the Charles I regicide reference surprised me as it didn't go v well for Charles I. Apparently though, I am just not one of the in-crowd and therefore don't get her 'little' jokes.
The resolutions are an attempt to find out what is actually going on, particularly with the SoA involvement in writing that morality clause -- something they are supposed to oppose in all cases.

The second draft is actually kind of fun. The first is excruciating. Lol
Mano, mano... What's the SoA world coming to, Ma'am?? TY for links. I dunno what else to say...
...thinkin...
Anyhoo, TY for this week's report, and other links as well. Will add, HOPE TO "HE**" WRITING GOES WELL, MICHELLE!!! (or some such ;-)

I hope the resolutions bring everything to light.
I can only hope so. The chair wrote a dreadful blog accusing us of all sorts of bizarre motivations for doing the resolutions. <eyeroll>
This explains some about the chair and her little ways: https://thecritic.co.uk/the-panhandlerati/
Figures. All I can say is it's all of a bundle, right?
