Well Harry has sure turned into quite the whining grifter hasn’t he. Spit on the country, leave the country but want the country to pay your security bills. Can’t the wife lay out of her Netflix money?
He has been surprisingly good at holding together Europe etc in the face of what has been happening. He is truly being a bridge. He is not reacting to everything and working behind the scenes. Here he has been helped with having John Healey as defence.
In domestic politics, he is v much a damp squib. There was a great cartoon in the Times about the time of Crufts of Starmer as a dog making a mess of agility (domestic) but clearing every hurdle with a perfect round internationally.
He does have 4 1/2 more years before he goes to the electorate though.
To be fair to the man, when he was the Director of Public Prosecutions, it was competently run. It is not his fault that the Conservatives decided to really limit court sitting time and start this backlog of cases which just keeps growing.
Harry is completely ridiculous. He certainly married his match. They need a reverse Truman Show. Separate them from society and make them think they're being filmed 24/7, but really we all just forget they exist and move on with our lives.
Cute hens! You're such a productive writer. Good luck with the new old novel!
Harry is nothing but predictable. People are mostly over him. I have no idea why he felt the need to upstage his father. Maybe because it was his father's 20th wedding anniversary.
Durham Hens https://www.durhamhens.co.uk/ does a good line in hens (and poultry supplies). They also run a hen holiday service. Margaret started the business because she likes hens (back when keeping hens was unfashionable).
I'm glad to see the uproar about the grooming gangs.
I'm confused on the difference between "positive action" and "positive discrimination." Sorry to see the West Yorkshire and Thames Valley police taking that route.
I wish For Women Scotland good luck.
TY for the articles about Kemi. Always of interest.
It's also interesting to see Germany's turn.
Russia's purported involvement in attacks doesn't surprise me.
Fascinating article about Ukraine. Shameful about the chemical weapons.
Paddy and the hens look good.
TY, as always, Michelle. I celebrate Your writing.
I suspect the difference between 'positive action' and 'positive discrimination' is beyond the police forces as well. There is a difference between mentoring and encouraging people to apply for positions and ensuring they are the only ones who know about the positions. It is a court case waiting to happen. I suspect the police forces will lose as they appear to have strayed into 'positive discrimination' territory.
I also think most right thinking people are pleased to see the uproar about the attempted sweeping under the carpet.
The Ukrainian situation is interesting, particularly their revitalizing of their armament industry which totally collapsed in the 1990s. During the Soviet era Ukraine produced most of the Soviets armament manufacture. The engineering prowess remained. They are innovating at speed.
OMG, that woman interrogator on BBC haranguing Kemi is insufferable. She, much like a US NPR or PBS narrator injects conclusions - "toxic masculinity" - as a frame of reference for discussions and relevance.
Anhyone who uses the term "toxic masculinity" is someone I immediately ignore. But she also - the interviewer - has a 'truly obnoxious style.
Yes, she is v much a paid up member of the insufferably smug brigade.
'Toxic' masculinity is a truly awful term. They never offer an alternative. What does non-toxic look like? And why not simply accentuate the positives of being masculine and there are many.
Those Gingernut Rangers are beautiful! I had to look them up, as that's not a common breed in the U.S.
I'm dealing with my own hen introductions this week, but it's harder with my half-grown pullets. I set up a separate space for them inside the main yard, so the old hens can get used to them, but I have to carry them back in to their box inside for the night.
First day was yesterday, and I discovered that my chickens are...chicken! The old hens are terrified of the new ones. I'm sure that will gradually pass (indeed, I'm going through all this so they don't peck the new ones to death when they finally get to interact), but it was quite amusing.
Margret who runs Durham Hens https://www.durhamhens.co.uk/ has quite a few different cross breeds. The gingernuts are good layers, but when free range, they are hard to spot if sitting on a nest. The colours blend in with old leaves. The other two I currently have are a columbine (great feathered hats) and a Bluebell. Both are quite old.
I get POL and it is relatively easy to introduce. The only time I have had problems is when a Mother duck decided to get post egg depression and kill all her ducklings. No reason, she just did. Some creatures are not meant to be mothers I guess.
From the looks of it, British police seek recruits who are fat lesbians of any skin color. With the usual pedantic and meddling qualities.
Now the same Euro intel services, who screeched that the Russians blew up their own gas pipeline, are blaming Islamic migrant crime on Russia? How convenient. I suppose they're rewriting the long history of native hating Euro globalist pukes importing hordes of adherents of the Satanic Verses to wipe our millennia of Western enlightenment?
I don't know if it is so much rewriting but seeing the bread crumbs of hybrid warfare. It is recognising that Russia uses bad actors wherever they can find them and they do nudge. It was the announcing on certain channels that an attack had happened before it actually took place which clued the German intelligence service in.
Several of the other attacks in the lead up to the German elections were more ambiguous, shall we say.
But yes in general I suspect it is only a small nudge.
And you are getting your inverse pyramid of victims wrong. It is the transwoman (ie biological male) which is supposed to be the ultimate victim. They may self-id as lesbian.

Markle’s new podcast is already getting panned. Shocking.
Michelle, question about Starmer: is there anything good about him?

Thank you. I read nothing but bad things about him and I wanted to get a fair opinion from you.

This is a four min clip of the interview Kemi gave. She is v good imho. V much a grown up politician https://x.com/andrewdoyle_com/status/1910369573825634602

One of the big changes in the UK defence has been learning and applying the lessons from the Ukrainian battlefield so Britain can fight a modern war. Project Asgard is part of this. https://ukdefencejournal.org.uk/defence-officials-highlight-culture-shift-towards-innovation/
The question in my mind is always -- why are these things being presented now? And who is the intended audience.
Great clip. TY Michelle.

Would not a black, Islamic trans "woman" win the grievance victim sweepstakes?
