Nice catch, Michelle. TY.

Let's hope the High Court gets this one right.

Fingers crossed.

The people bringing the case are the same ones who tried to get the GB ALliance banned as a charity and failed. They have a habit of shooting themselves in the foot.

Funny how the people who are so valiantly against banning books have no problem taking books from the public as soon as they have the power to do so. And the hypocrisy is lost on them.

Paddy is shining! Let’s hope he doesn’t find anything else to roll in!

The hypocrisy is astonishing. Also a number of the people who signed actively worked against authors who lost contracts or simply shrugged their shoulders and smirked.

Christina has been brilliant -- particularly when various news outlets decided not to publish her name. She called a number of journos who claimed to have tried to speak to her out as well.

She really is. Fearless but then she figures that staying silent would be worse.

I've been following the saga as well. She is relentless! I had not heard of her before this and will be reading some of her work now.

Christina was a relatively new author. Vox was her debut and then her next books were not heavily promoted in part she is sure because of her GC views. You can never say in this industry.

Anyway she is not writing right now because she doesn't think she will get the promo. Thus she has nothing to lose. But she is a very good writer

Hello Northumberland! Good to see Ya this Friday.

Another fine roundup. I'm sorry for the Labour folks and their ideas on women's rights. But was pleasantly surprised by the article from NYT. Never thought that would see the light of day there.

I'm so glad to hear the revisions are done. And likewise glad to hear the trees are going to be removed from the path. Paddy is looking good after his bath.

TY, as always, Michelle.

Great to see you are well JT.

I was glad to get the revisions done.

It is going to be interesting re women's rights in the UK because women are now organized in a way they were not before.

Nobody knows what it is between Dodds and Phillipson. It does not make any sense. I think the legislation was such that you must have a Secretary of State for Women and Equalities (a Tony Blair Proudly Presents innovation) . Starmer did not elevate Dodds to Secretary of State and it has now been stuck under education which is weird but this is Labour.

Badenoch will most likely keep the brief for the Conservatives as it is what she is really interested in. She is formidable opponent. If she doesn't want Leader, it would be great to have her on the Education brief.
