Sounds like the same toxicity that prevents him from apologising and supporting Rosie Duffield, too! Thanks, Michelle 👍

Good morning, Michelle! Thanks for the update on goings-on across the pond. I’m surprised to hear that Labour is expected to win, as I’ve been hearing that everything in Europe is sweeping to the right. But I will also confess to being mystified by the British political system.

Re the masks: “cultural safety” LOL. I’m really glad there’s been a strong reaction against JSO’s stupid antics. They need to go to prison for that.

Congrats on the book!!! So exciting!

And good boy, Paddy. Heeling is tough. Right now working on getting my Doberman to not threaten to eat every small dog he comes across.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Good morning Chana

The Conservatives have been in power for 14 years. Because of COVID and other things nothing works. People are fed up and Labour have lurched right from v far left under Corbyn.

It is more going to the centre. Although Reform may do something and they are further right on immigration than the Conservatives.

Think of House of Commons like House of Representatives but with more power.

France is going to be interesting. I really hope they don't go hard right with Le Pen and Le Toy boy.

LOL on your Doberman -- my old Border collie never liked strange dogs. Paddy is fine with them.

And the Princess of Wales has just released a photo of the Prince of Wales and the children for his birthday. it is brilliant, I think.

And one more article for you JT -- this time from JK Rowling about why she will struggle to vote for Labour. https://www.thetimes.com/uk/politics/article/jk-rowling-labour-has-dismissed-women-like-me-ill-struggle-to-vote-for-it-rrgbcrkd6 or https://archive.ph/EMU96

TY, Michelle. Alas, I no longer subscribe to The Times.

But I could see why she would struggle.

If you are in the US, GB is in Europe, but I know what you mean. It was never exactly a happy union was it? I mean the whole point of the original steel union was to get one over on the British.

Good Morning Northumberland! Good to "see" Ya again.

You have a number of interesting articles today, as You always do. I'm glad to see SEEN. And I especially enjoyed the article on Kemi, tho it wasn't entirely complimentary. I hope the solicitors in the PO Scandal get what's coming to them. The museums are so weak, it's almost funny.

Nice to see Your books. Hope Paddy gets a chance to read it. I'm looking forward to it myself.

Had a good week, despite the heat. It's supposed to be 93 today (about 34° C) and 94 tomorrow. Then the weather breaks on Sunday. I'm looking forward to that, although there are a couple days next week to hit 90 again. I've been going for my daily constitutional at sunrise, or a little before. Very muggy out, at that time.

TY, as always, Michelle. Hope You have a good Friday and a great weekend.

Lovely to see you JT

I too have a sunrise walk with Paddy. One good thing about Northumberland is that there is usually v little humidity. Also it tends not to be raining at the time, go figure.

Paddy will most likely chew up the book. He has been known to do this with my books. Everyone is a critic. LOL

I am pleased you enjoyed the articles. I thought you'd enjoy the article on Kemi.

SEEN and the growth of SEEN in different industries is a good thing.

Congratulations on your book delivery! Do you know when it will be in stores? I’ll check here in B&N.

I would think end of September. I think it will be in the independents rather than Wal-Mart because Wal-Mart has stopped carrying the Historical line.

B&N should have it from what I understand. Distribution is HQN's problem.

Extinction Rebellion is apparently extinct. I had an email back on 7 Nov from the Ecologist saying that some Palestine Liberation organization was taking over the XR apparatus as they were now defunct (and had been for some time). I rapidly cancelled the Ecologist as I had no wish to be involved with a terrorist organization and had thought hitherto they were about saving hedgerows etc. Anyway, apparently they were all one and the same which made me wonder who is actually doing the funding.

And thank you for your take on matters.
