Hello Northumberland! Glad to see You again this Friday. Another fine roundup.

It's too bad Mermaids wasn't removed as a charity. I don't trust them. And this Chris Kaba was a real piece of work. And another piece of work is that broadcast on Churchill by Channel 4. You're absolutely right. And that was a good article by David Frost.

Interesting discovery of the fermenting apple juice. And Paddy looks marvelous, and I'm glad he's acting that way, too.

TY, Michelle, for all You do. Good luck on the writing, and here's to hoping Your editor has good comments on what You sent her.

So pleased to see you JT. I have been away visiting my youngest in Edinburgh. He took me to Book Of Mormon as a treat and I also was able to spend a good few hours at the Museum of Scotland looking at the exhibits.

Thank you for that information on Churchill's supposed involvement in the famine. I always suspected there was more to that story than the Churchill haters were telling, but there's so much information on Churchill, I never felt I could track down the truth without more study on the subject than I had the time and will for.

It is understanding what they are trying to do and why which is important. Churchill was not perfect, but he was ultimately heroic in what he did.

The problems of logistics and global shipping is something which took me a long while to understand. You also need to understand that the Quit India Campaign which morphs into Hindu Nationalism was aligned with the Japanese to a certain extent and it was in their interest to blacken the British response.

The derivation of Limey. Duh. How is it I never thought of that. I’ve long known of the pejorative but not why. Double duh.

Hey when they got rid of the rum ration in the 1970s, they had a near mutiny.

I'm curious what the status of the professional race-bating poverty pimps is now that the "back story" of Chris Kaba's life has ben told. It seemed that mom and some professional agitators were on the hustings riling up anger in the streets. Now?

I’m going to vote tomorrow. I’ve never voted early before. It seems silly because I have to drive a few towns away when on Election Day I vote across the street from my house! But the doubts that have been cast about election integrity are pushing a lot of people I know to vote early. And also I know a lot of people voting for Trump this time around. I’m one of them.
