I hope Barney finds a wonderful home.

Glad cycling is coming to its senses. Listen to Riley Gaines’s interview with Jordan Peterson where she discusses how UPenn treated the women swimmers on the team who dared say anything about Lia Thomas. It’s chilling.

Glad the JSO fools got hosed. They should just rent a theater somewhere and charge for their performance art.

Sport in general in the UK seems to be. British Rowing is a bit of a joke -- if you are competing as a mixed crew, no more than 50% can be biologically male, but if you are competing as a women's crew, 100% can be biologically male. The science is there -- Sharron Davies, Martina Navratilova and other elite athletes have worked to pull everything together. Sharron has been really vilified but her persistence (in part because of what she experienced with the East German women back in the early 1908s) has been astonishing and she has accomplished miracles. Riley Gaines appears to be doing the same sort of thing in the US.

JSO should stop with the street theatre and rent somewhere, I agree. People are getting fed up with it.

Very few women athletes have spoken up here but I believe the time is coming where more people in general are speaking up, which is good. Funny how there is never a movement to Save Men’s Sports?

When I was in high school (88-92), students would set up tables with various petitions dedicated to environmental causes. I told my dad about this and he replied, “Why don’t they start by cleaning up the Brook?” The Brook surrounding the school was polluted back then and people had no problem tossing their garbage in it. He was right. Such a big difference between actually doing the dirty work and looking like you’re really working on a cause!

And the students of my high school, about 20 years after I was gone, did clean the Brook up. My dad said it was about time. Lol

Fingers crossed. But of course because Seb Coe and World Athletics made the track and field decision, it takes some of the pressure off. Elite women need to start boycotting the medal platforms etc. And it is not about banning, but preventing undue advantage.

I am with your dad! One of my objections to the Thunberg school strikes was that they were not actually doing to help the environment such as picking up litter or engaging in citizen science. Most protest marches etc are sound and fury accomplishing little, a bit like airplane fuel burning without an engine to drive. Looks spectacular but serves no purpose.

Another great lineup, Michelle.

Shame on Baroness Falkner for seeking women's rights. She should know better than to go up against the trans narrative. Wish her luck. And can't help but wonder how old the civil servants working for her are. So they're 'alleging “bullying”, “discrimination”, “harassment” and a “lack of psychological safety”.' While they bully and harass the Baroness, and force her to waste money against these wasteful indecent baseless charges. Wonder how psychologically safe she feels. And these TRAs have no problem discriminating against women, but revile supposed discrimination in others. It never ceases to amaze me.

Would also note I enjoyed the article on Barney, the Old English Sheepdog. And laughed at the "Just Stop Oil" women getting hosed.

TY, as always, Ma'am. Have a good 'n.

And the other news just in is that British cycling has made the male elite section open and restricted the female section to biological women only. I wished they had put it all the way down to grass roots but what can you do? It is a start: https://archive.is/ele93

I really hope they have bitten off more than they can chew with Baroness Falkner -- though she be but little, she is fierce as the quote from Midsummer's Night Dream goes.

I love JSO getting hosed. Such a great reaction. And I hope Barney finds his forever home soon.

Still waiting to hear back from my editor re my partial -- should be today -- who knows.
