This is very good from Lord Tony Sewell. In this op ed, he explains why policing in Britain needs to alter and why racial equity is a dangerous madness and exists in opposition to actual justice. I have a lot of time for Sewell. He has done a lot to promote excellence in teaching black Britons (particularly boys) that they should not give into the soft bigotry of low expectations. He doesn't fit the narrative and thus, a certain section ignores him which is a mistake imho. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/06/05/racial-equity-is-dangerous-madness-opposite-of-justice/ or https://archive.ph/lUpMS
In the US ( as you know) many of our schools have, for decades, taught that only whites can be racist. Is the same true now in the UK and was that the case before the summer of love in 2020?
It is now to true to a certain extent but Badenoch as equalities minister stopped much of it in 2021 as she led the charge against CRT and forced through certain changes -- but some schools continue to teach this. The 2021 Sewell report was instrumental in the fight back.
The notion of white privilege is a contest notion and such things are not supposed to be taught. In the UK, it is white boys from severely disadvantaged groups who perform the worst in education.
But the idea first really took hold in 1999 when Macpherson declared the Met Police to be 'institutionally racist'.
The idea is really a recycling of 18th century myths of the Noble Savage as Mercy Muroki pointed out.
There are also a lot of reasons why various nationalistic movements like Hindu Nationalism can't admit that the British Empire did any good at all.
You need to look at this clip from DavidLammy to see the double standards. Taking the knee for Henry Nowak would be mere symbolism, but it meant something different in 2020. So no, this person who wants to ensure racial equity in the British justice won't doing it. https://x.com/LBC/status/2062799740400697758
Hello Northumberland! Another fine Friday to read some news.
I continue to be stunned by the Henry Nowak murder. Digwa didn't get enough time, IMO. Kemi is great, as always. Emma Webber's story is horrendous, too.
The NAMP is also horrendous. Totally corrupt.
There's no hope for the House of Common's staff that are so triggered to be against women's rights. Same for the trade unions.
I'm glad to see the West Lothian Council lost it's case. The sports associations need to lose a few cases.
I'm glad to hear about Your rain, and that the roses are doing so well. Paddy looks great, as always. I'm glad to hear Your creativity returned.
And this is from an opinion piece in the Financial Times. Mark Nowak had to fight the police to prevent them from issuing a statement that it was a racially aggravated incident as there was no evidence that Henry had done anything like DIgwa claimed. There are loads of echoes of the Stephan Lawrence incident... https://archive.ph/n00mp
Why have not all the police been suspended and charged with criminally negligent homicide, or the British equivalent of that long standing US criminal law? I would say the spectacle of an entire island nation gone howling made is quite sad but then am reminded of the rousing street demonstrations of British patriots to know there is hope.
Because the IOPC hasn't finished its investigation. The video wasn't released until this week and so no one was questioning the pathologist who said the wound wasn't survivable. The coroner's jury inquest which will examine the police's guilt is not until next Sept.
The judge got it arse backwards in saying that police were right to make an immediate decision that Nowak wasn't stabbed before examining him. This is not what Macpherson said -- Stephan Lawrence again was stabbed; it was dark and he was wearing dark clothes. The police must treat someone claiming to be stabbed as if they have been stabbed until proven otherwise.

Sewell, Sowell. The resemblance is irrelevant but nonetheless startling.
I believe Sewell is a huge fan of Sowell's. I know Badenoch is.
Great op end from Lord Tony Sewell. TY Michelle.
Glad you enjoyed it.

I hope Eli Steeles movie White Guilt is available in the UK. Might they ban it?
I think you can get it through Amazon, but it should be required viewing of politicians.
According to Nick Timothy in 2020 Lammy attacked those who didn’t take the knee or called it gesture politics when George Floyd was killed in America.
He called them “disrespectful” to the Black Lives Matter movement.
Maybe he should be referred to as an anti -English Englishman
Thx
