As I was wearing my procrastination princess tiara this week...I will post on Common Sense substack eventually but have a lot on today including trying to my word count.
And because I have just seen it -- an interview from Kemi -- basically she likes both candidates. If you want a super-techonocrat who is good on policy vote Sunak, if you want someone who is a maverick and willing to shake up the status quo -- go with Liz Truss. "‘I loved working with her because there was an unpredictability there that usually helped us get into the right place,’ she said. ‘Sometimes if you’re too predictable in politics you don’t think of new ideas. You just do the same thing over and over again and nothing changes.’"https://www.mailplus.co.uk/edition/news/politics/211288/kemi-maverick-truss-could-be-a-creative-pm?new-user=1
Earlier this week Truss indicated that Badenoch would have a senior position in her cabinet btw.
Yet another *great* article, Ma'am. And what Kemi said is so like here across the pond:
‘I am very worried about the direction the country is going in and I’m hoping that I will have an opportunity to be part of a team that helps to sort it out.’
Yet another *great* round-up, Ma'am. The keynote speech by the AG was so good, I copied it to Word. (Only one minor complaint: the link provided needs the 9 at the end added to it. Can do manually, so wasn't overwhelming problem.)
Thank You. TYTY, for all the links. TY for taking the time, as I know word-count of primary importance. Good luck on that! And TY again.
I am sure you have seen the news but Salmon Rushdie was attacked on stage. We need to get back to a place where speech is not violence but actual violence is violence. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-62524922

Thank you for enjoying it.
NonononoNo! *You* don't thank *me* for *me* enjoying it, "fool." Now I gotta thank You *again.* Sheesh.
(So here goes: TYTYTY <bowing and scraping> ;-)
Your reports are FABULOUS.
Since you asked, I subscribed because I read your comments on Bari Weiss's SubStack.

I just saw the headline. You propose a good solution, Ma'am.
